During the evening, we will award the luminaries who have made significant contributions to the development and advancement of the Hispanic market in Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia. GWHCC will present three awards to change makers in the following categories: The GWHCC Legacy Award – A legacy award that will live in the Chamber and online. This award will be bestowed upon a long-standing business in our region who has demonstrated a history of resiliency, sustainability and corporate citizenship. The Young Hispanic Entrepreneur Award – Presented to a young, bold entrepreneur who has been in business 0-5 years. This individual has a track record of success, a deep level of community involvement and is effecting change through corporate social responsibility. The Corporate Community Anchor Award – Granted to an organization whose contributions and strong commitment to corporate responsibility practices have empowered the Hispanic community in the region. The leaders of this organization are actively engaged in expanding these efforts and integrate relevant societal concerns into their core values and strategic plans. “We are launching this hisotric initiative as vehicle to highlight and memorialize the incredible contributions made by Hispanic businesses in our region over the years.
