This action comes with the fullest confidence that Díaz will continue to be an excellent steward of the Chamber’s mission and a leader and advocate for our community. GWHCC President and CEO, Nicole Quiroga, recognizes that Díaz is a leader who, with years of experience under his belt, is the right person to pursue the Chamber’s interests and support community initiatives. "David has been instrumental to the development and execution of our achievements during 2018 and 2019. His years of experience, dynamic personality, and comittment to serving our members give me great confidence in his ability to take on this role as we advance an agenda of opportunity for all,” said Quiroga. Mr. Díaz has served as the GWHCC Director of Membership and Sponsorship since August 2018 where he acted as the Chamber's primary liaison with our members, partners and event sponsors. During his tenure, David has also managed logistics for the Chamber's signature events, networking events and more, including the 2019 Business Expo, "Hispanic Business Hall of Fame" 2019 Gala, Hispanic Heritage Celebration..."Savor the Night", GWHCC Exchange, etc. Passionate and ready to expand the GWHCC's mission, Díaz will work to develop new initiatives that reinforce the Chamber's position as one of the leading Chambers in the region. Díaz says of his new position, “The Chamber has and will continue to play a unique and vital role in the promotion of a positive image for our community and our membership. I am honored to have the opportunity to serve the Chamber in this new way...engaging the community, our membership, local government leaders and partners to fully realize our shared vision for the prosperous development of the small business community in the DMV."
